Southside Church of Christ
Pastor Jack Wooling
Pastor Jack Wooling and Southside Church of Christ feel very blessed to have had
a weekly radio program on “The Light” since 1998. Pastor Wooling thanks
God for the ability to use the radio as a vehicle for sending out the gospel; several
members have been baptized and added to the Southside congregation after listening
to the broadcast, and Pastor Wooling is consistently told by people he meets how
the broadcast has blessed them.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Pastor Jack Wooling has been living in the
Bay Area since 1967. As part of the ministry staff at Southside Church of Christ
in Richmond since 1985, Pastor Wooling has been very active in missions and has
a great passion for helping marriages thrive and last. He dedicates hundreds of
hours to pre-marital counseling, working under the premise that it is better to
get it right in the beginning than to have to fix it at a later date.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church
Dr. Kevin B. Hall
At the historic St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Richmond, our Church Mission
Statement epitomizes the purpose and vision of our church: “St. John exists
as ‘A Kingdom Building Church in the New Millennium’ to Evangelize the
Sinner and to Equip the Saints, who are Edifying and Enjoying one another, in order
to Exalt the Savior.”
Over the 66 years of her existence, St. John has stood the tests of time primarily
due to God’s favor, and secondly because we strive to fulfill God’s
purpose for His church. Only through worship, evangelism, ministry, discipleship
and fellowship can we seek to embrace the unbeliever and encourage the believer.
St. John of Richmond is not a membership-driven church, but a Word-driven, discipleship-driven
church that is focused on Kingdom Building. We invite you to come and become a part
of our fellowship during one of the 7:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Worship Celebrations!
