Morgan Dukes
Host of The Gospel Express (Weekdays 7:00am – 12:00pm)
Full of warmth and charisma, Morgan Dukes is an established professional in her
craft and has delighted listeners for years over the airwaves. It may seem a bit
like a cliché, but Morgan is what you would call "a natural".
With a B.A. in Radio-TV-Film, Morgan began her career in Hattiesburg, Mississippi
at radio station WMSU, later joining the staff of WHSY-FM. After a television stint
at WDAM-TV, she later returned to radio at places such as WNSL-FM (Laurel, MS),
WBLX AM/FM (Mobile, AL), and WALR-FM (Atlanta, GA).
Morgan’s broadcasting career has kept her quite busy over the years performing duties
from Television Reporter to Program Director. Her career has featured music from
genres such as County, Top 40, R&B, and Gospel for a variety of stations…including
Atlanta’s GLORY 1340 and Sheridan Gospel Network’s "THE LIGHT". Morgan’s broadcasting
career also includes motion pictures, national commercials, and television shows
which have aired on Daystar and TBN. Currently, she hosts "The Gospel Express" which
is broadcasted nationwide on "THE LIGHT."
Morgan is the wife of Pastor Jerome Dukes and very active in ministry as the "First
Lady" of Community Fellowship Christian Center International in Riverdale, GA.

Ace Alexander
Host of The Praise Party (Weekdays 12:00pm – 4:00pm)
Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Memphis, TN, Ace Alexander is the spirited host
of The Light’s afternoon "Praise Party." Ace began his career in Holly Springs,
MS as an announcer and program coordinator, and later held on-air positions at various
radio stations in Memphis. His on-air experience includes several music formats
from Urban and Adult Contemporary to Oldies and Gospel.
Ace has demonstrated versatility in the broadcasting and entertainment industry
by successfully performing in diverse roles. Having a compassionate heart for youth
and young adults, Ace has also been the featured speaker at Christian singles workshops,
youth rallies and other special events. He is an ordained Deacon and a member of
the Board of Directors at New Life Community Church in Memphis, TN. Now residing
in Atlanta, GA, he is also a member of World Changers Church International in College
Park, GA where he serves in the media ministry.
Ace is committed to utilizing his God-given talents to promote the Kingdom of God
and encourage others to discover their divine purpose. He considers his position
as host of The Light’s afternoon "Praise Party" as a divine appointment to his most
important ministry yet.

Jackie Campbell
Host of Evening Inspirations (Monday-Thursday 4:00pm – sign-off)
Jackie Campbell is the signature voice on The Light. Originally from Detroit, Jackie
graduated from Wayne State University with a degree specializing in Radio and Television.
She has worked for WTVS-TV 56 and WDIV-TV 4 in Detroit, and WDTN-TV 2 in Dayton,
Ohio, as well as other communication entities.
Before coming to the Sheridan Gospel Network, she worked as an Assistant to the
President at WPBA-TV 30, Public Television in Atlanta. Jackie also does voice-overs,
and can be heard on several public TV affiliates and various radio stations across
the United States.

Marshalen Martin

The Marshalen Martin

One of the most recognized names in Bay Area Gospel radio, Marshalen Martin loves
making every listener feel special! Daughter of the late Reverend James S. Taylor,
Marshalen is a San Francisco native and large contributor to the Bay Area Religious
Community.
Beginning her career as a professional radio broadcaster in 1980, Marshlen has worked
at KEST in San Francisco, KJAM in Pittsburg, KDIA in Oakland, KECG in El Cerrito,
and now KDYA serving the entire Bay Area. A member of the Bay Area Religious Announcers
Guild since 1981, Marshalen has also received an honorary Doctorate Degree of Ministry
from Bell Grove Theological Seminary and was named 2001 Woman of the Year by the
National Chapter of C.O.G.I.C. Business and Professional Women’s Federation.
In 2009, Marshalen was included as a judge in the Verizon Wireless How Sweet the
Sound competition and is currently working on her upcoming self-titled television
show, "The Marshalen Martin Show," which can now be found on kcse.tv.com.

Clarence Ivy
Host of Gospel Flashback (Saturdays 1:00pm – 4:00pm)/Weekend Announcer
The Lord has truly blessed Clarence Ivy with one of the best voices in radio! For
the past few decades Bay Area radio listeners have been entertained and inspired
by that voice. Born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois, Clarence moved to the
San Francisco Bay Area in 1971. Clarence’s background includes serving for a time
as Gospel Coordinator for KDIA/KDYA, and being a founding member of the Pentecostal
Acting Company. He currently hosts one of the most popular Gospel programs around…Gospel
Flashback heard on Gospel 1190 every Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00.

Clifford Brown Jr.
Program Director
For many years now, the name Clifford Brown, Jr. has been synonymous with broadcasting
in the San Francisco Bay Area. Brown has successfully held the positions of award
winning Radio Personality, award winning Program Director, Broadcast Operations
Manager, National Programming Consultant, Director On Air Operations, award winning
Production Director and Broadcasting Arts Educator. He currently serves as Program
Director of KDYA and Operations Manager of KDIA.
Brown got his first professional job at the age of 18, and before he turned 30 had
been awarded the prestigious Golden Mic for being the San Francisco Bay Area’s top
radio personality. Brown has also been recognized for his programming acumen, having
received the AMPEX AWARD OF EXCELLENCE as the nation’s top jazz Program Director,
and received the Beverly Anne Johnson Media Award for his many years of being a
"positive Black male role model." His stations have been recognized numerous times
as being among the top in the nation in their genre, including a Stellar Award nomination
for Major Market Gospel Station of the Year. In 2007 Brown was named a "Bay Area
Broadcasting Living Legend".
Of all his accomplishments, Clifford particularly enjoys getting to help ministries

Kevin Bliss
Assisstant To The Program Director/Weekend Announcer
Kevin Bliss was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay
Area. He is 30-year radio veteran and one of the original members of the Gospel
1190 air team. Bliss is a true broadcast professional and a favorite of Gospel music
enthusiasts throughout Northern California!
Kevin Bliss sums up his broadcasting philosophy by stating, "I love the radio business,
the challenge, the responsibility and the discipline required to build a good radio
station, while keeping the name of the Lord first. I believe the most important
people in radio are the ones we serve…the listeners!"

Brotha Phil
Minister Phillip Mcleod is a native of Richmond, California and joyfully serves KDYA "The Light" as the youthful air personality, Brotha Phil. At the tender age of five, Phillip accepted Christ as his personal Savior and under the leadership of Dr. Kevin B. Hall, Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, obeyed God’s call to the ministry. Since then, he has been committed to proclaiming the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ and currently serves as Praise and Worship Minister at St. John.
In 2008, Phillip completed his undergraduate career at San Francisco State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio and Television. He is currently studying at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley CA, in effort to earn a Masters of Divinity Degree.

John L. Burris
Legally Speaking
John L. Burris formed the Law Offices of John L. Burris in 1985, after several years in private practice with the firm Harris, Alexander, and Burris in Oakland, California. He earned a law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law - Boalt Hall and MBA from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Business. He is best known for his work in the area of plaintiff's civil rights over the last 25 plus years and as a legal analyst on Fox, MSNBC, Court TV, CNN and many local television and radio stations. His primary areas of focus for his practice include cases involving police misconduct, employment discrimination and criminal defense. His initial participation with police misconduct issues occurred in April 1979 when he was hired by the Mayor and the City Council of Oakland to conduct an independent investigation into the fatal police shooting of 15-year-old Melvin Black and the entry into the Oakland office of the NAACP by Oakland police officers. He is the author of the book BLUE vs. BLACK: Let's End the Conflict between Police and Minorities.
Pastor Marcus Small
People’s Inter-Cities Fellowship
Pastor Marcus Small grew up in Marin City/Sausalito where he attended the local schools. Pastor Marcus graduated from the local community college - College of Marin (COM) with an AA degree in the Behavioral Sciences in 1981 and then transferred to San Francisco State University (SFSU) where he received his M.S. degree in Clinical Psychology in 1987. While attending COM & SFSU, Pastor Marcus also took Bible classes at Southern Marin Bible Institute, where his brother-in-law, Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Akognon (pronounced Akoy yon) is the founder. In 1990, Pastor Marcus was licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of CA.
Pastor Marcus serves as the Executive/Associate Pastor of People’s Inter-Cities Fellowship (PICF) where his father Pastor Fred Small is the Senior Pastor. At PICF, we believe that God is in the business of “saving lives” and we are so thankful that He has allowed us to partner with Him in this great endeavor. For the Christian, we believe that ministry is everybody’s business.
